Meet your Neighbourhood Inspector Charlotte Rimmer
I’ve been a police officer in Surrey for a little over ten years now. Previously I was an Inspector managing the response team in Guildford after spending a number of years as a detective.
Taking up the role of Neighbourhood Inspector is a real challenge and one which I am delighted to have the opportunity to embrace. It is a role where I can clearly make a larger difference to a greater number of people than in my previous roles, and that is exactly what I intend to do.
My aim is to build capable Safer Neighbourhood Teams who can work effectively with you, the community, and our partners to tackle those issues that cause you most concern in your neighbourhoods. Your role is vital in identifying those issues to us and where possible helping to resolve them.
I recognise that in the UK we police with your consent. That is one reason why it is so important that you have confidence and trust in what we do. I know that if we have your trust and confidence, we can also depend upon your support in the prevention and detection of crime and disorder.
I would like to take this opportunity of thanking Inspector Davies for his hard work on the borough and I look forward to delivering safer neighbourhoods so that you can enjoy living and working in Reigate and Banstead.
