E-fit released of man wanted in connection Kingswood burglary
Officers have released an E-fit of a man they would like to speak to in connection with an aggravated burglary in Kingswood.
The burglary happened between 7.30pm and 8pm on Wednesday, 20 January, while the occupants were at home and a man gained entry to their house.
The burglar was disturbed by the victim and a struggle ensued between the two men. The suspect pushed the 61-year-old victim into the table and chairs. He then left the house empty handed.
The victim was not injured.
The suspect is described as a man, possibly mixed-race, approximately 5ft 6’ tall, aged between 25-35, of slim athletic build, dark eyes and shaved head. He was wearing a black hooded top which had a white Nike logo, black jeans and black shoes.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Vicki Morris said: “We have produced this E-fit in the hope someone will recognise this man and come forward with his name so we can arrest him.
“Kingswood is a small close-knit community and I know this incident has shocked those who live there but I would like to reassure residents we are doing all we can to bring this man to justice.
“I am appealing to the public to take a close look at this E-fit and if you think you know who it is please contact Surrey Police or if you wish to remain anonymous call Crimestoppers. With your help we can identify this man and prevent him from striking again.”
Can you help? Do you recognise this man? Anyone with any information is urged to contact Surrey Police on 0845 125 2222 quoting reference RB/10/577 or Crimestoppers if you wish to remain anonymous.
